Unvented Hot Water Cylinders

Many houses are now installed with unvented hot water cylinders which provide mains pressured hot water at all tap outlets. These cylinders can also be installed as a replacement for traditional copper cylinders.

Benefits of unvented cylinders:

  • Mains pressure hot water at all outlets
  • Multiple taps can be used simultaneously
  • Gives powerful showers with no noisy booster pump
  • Low heat loss from cylinder, improving efficiency

These cylinders incorporate several vital safety devices that need to be installed and maintained correctly. A separate certification is required by engineers to install unvented cylinders, which I keep updated every 5 years.
